A card game for two players

This app offers three engaging card games: Four Cards Golf, Six Cards Golf, and Scat. Choose your preferred game via Settings.

Four Cards Golf Rules

A two-player card game.

The objective, like in golf, is to score the fewest points possible.

Each game includes nine rounds. At the start, each player gets 4 face-down cards, with remaining cards forming a draw pile. One card from the draw pile is placed face-up in a discard pile.

Before play starts, players may peek once at the two cards closest to them in their square layout. These cards remain secret. Players cannot view their cards again unless discarding during play or scoring at the end.

During a turn, draw a card from the draw pile. You may replace any card in your layout without seeing its face. Remember the replaced card. Move the replaced card to the face-up discard pile. Alternatively, draw from the discard pile and discard it face-up without using it.

Players may draw from the discard pile. Since these cards are face-up, use one to replace a card in your layout, then discard the replaced card. You cannot return a drawn card to the pile without altering your layout.

Players can choose to knock, ending their turn. Play continues normally, with others drawing or discarding, but they cannot knock. The round concludes afterward.

Scoring:

- Pairs of same-value cards in a row or column score 0 points

- Jokers score -2 points

- Kings score 0 points

- Queens and Jacks score 10 points

- Other cards score their rank value

- Four identical cards score -6 points

Six Cards Golf Rules

A two-player card game.

The goal, as in golf, is to minimize points.

Each game has nine rounds. Players receive 6 face-down cards at the start, with remaining cards in a draw pile. One card is placed face-up in a discard pile.

Initially, players turn two cards face-up. They aim to lower their card values by swapping for lower-value cards or pairing cards of equal rank in columns.

Players take turns drawing one card from the draw or discard pile. The drawn card can replace a player's card or be discarded. If swapped with a face-down card, the new card stays face-up. If discarded, the turn passes. The round ends when all of a player's cards are face-up.

Scoring:

- Pairs in a column score 0 points

- Jokers score -2 points

- Kings score 0 points

- Queens and Jacks score 20 points

- Other cards score their rank value

To swap a card with one from the discard pile, tap it. To play from the draw pile, tap to reveal, then tap the discard pile to discard or one of your cards to swap.
