Carplounge Autopilot / Raymarine Element App for RT7 & RT4 V4

The Carplounge Autopilot revolutionizes the control of your BaitBoat by replacing the traditional remote with an Android tablet or phone. The app, available for free on the Google Play Store, supports any Android device equipped with Bluetooth. By connecting your tablet to the boat through a Bluetooth transmitter box, you gain full control via an intuitive touchscreen interface.

In manual mode, the operation of the boat mirrors that of a standard BaitBoat, allowing for direct steering through the touchscreen. The app displays the boat's position, route, and orientation in real-time on a map, utilizing advanced compass functionality. Furthermore, you can save and label promising fishing spots identified by the echo sounder using the integrated GPS, such as "jetty left", "spot 1", or "home".

Switch to autopilot mode, and you can program specific routes by selecting and linking various points with customized actions, like opening hatches or turning on lights. For example, you might set the boat to:

1. Navigate to the "Sandbank" position and open the right hopper.
2. Proceed to "Spot 2" and open the left hopper.
3. Return to the fishing spot and flash the lights once.

The boat will then autonomously follow the programmed route. With the ability to store nearly an unlimited number of spots and routes, and utilizing state-of-the-art measurement technology including position and acceleration sensors, as well as the latest GPS and compass technology, the boat achieves route guidance with 90% accuracy within 30cm.

The system also smartly manages line tension during movement, especially when deploying two rods to different locations simultaneously. The built-in electronics detect line tension and adjust the boat's course accordingly, ensuring it stays on the direct path to the target without unnecessary detours that could cause line kinks.

While the autopilot replaces the conventional remote control, we also offer the option to connect a traditional remote to the autopilot system. This allows you to choose between controlling the boat via your tablet or the remote. The app is optimized for 10-inch Android tablets, ensuring a seamless touchscreen experience.
