FortiToken Mobile is a robust One Time Password (OTP) generator app designed for mobile devices, offering both event-based and time-based authentication options. As an OATH-compliant solution, it integrates seamlessly with Fortinet's ecosystem, including FortiOS, FortiAuthenticator, and FortiToken Cloud, to provide a highly secure, user-friendly, and cost-effective multi-factor authentication (MFA) solution.

Privacy and Control:

FortiToken Mobile prioritizes your privacy and control over your device. The app does not have the capability to alter your phone settings, capture photos or videos, record or transmit audio, or access your emails. It also does not monitor your browsing history. FortiToken Mobile will only send you notifications or change settings with your explicit permission. Importantly, the app cannot remotely wipe your device. The only information it requires visibility on is your OS version to ensure compatibility with the app's version. During the manual installation of FortiToken tokens, 3rd Party tokens, and Token Transfer, you may need to enter sensitive details such as your email address or token seeds.

Although FortiToken Mobile does not modify settings without your consent, certain permissions are necessary for its operation:

• Camera Access: Essential for scanning QR codes to facilitate easy token activation.
• TouchID/FaceID: Utilized to enhance the security of the app.
• Internet Access: Required for token activation and receiving push notifications.
• "Send Feedback by Email": Automatically populates the sender field for ease of use.
• File Sharing: Allows internal sharing of files between applications to attach feedback emails.
• Keep Device Awake: Prevents data corruption during internal database upgrades by keeping the phone awake.
