Capcom a étendu la bêta de Monster Hunter Wilds après une panne de réseau PlayStation 24 heures sur 24 qui a perturbé le test précédent. La panne du PSN, qui a commencé vers 15 heures PT le vendredi 7 février, a duré environ 24 heures. Sony a attribué la perturbation à un «problème opérationnel», compensant les abonnés PlayStation plus avec cinq jours de service supplémentaires.
Cette panne a eu un jeu de gameplay en ligne, y compris le très attendu Monster Hunter Wilds Beta, prévu du jeudi 6 février au dimanche 9 février. En réponse, Capcom a annoncé une extension de 24 heures à la prochaine session bêta. Les nouvelles dates sont:
