Battlegrounds Season 9 Arrives in Hearthstone with Major Updates

Hearthstone Battlegrounds Season 9: Cosmic Chaos Arrives December 3rd!

Get ready for a celestial shake-up! Hearthstone's Battlegrounds mode is launching Season 9 on December 3rd, bringing a universe of changes, updates, and brand-new features. Prepare for a cosmic-themed experience with cutting-edge tech and a completely revamped minion lineup – it's like the Tavern had a major makeover!

Key Changes:

Bob's Technotavern is getting a significant upgrade. Season 9 resets ratings and bids farewell to Trinkets, replacing them with exciting new Battlegrounds Tokens. These tokens allow you to reroll a hero option at the selection screen – perfect for escaping those undesirable choices.

Reveal Schedule:

Before the full launch, Hearthstone is unveiling new content in stages:

  • November 20th: Naga and Dragon reveals.
  • November 21st: Quilboar and Beast reveals.
  • November 22nd: Pirate and Duos-only reveals.
  • November 25th: Murloc and Demon reveals.
  • November 26th: Elemental and Undead reveals.
  • December 2nd: Preview event streams and 31.2 patch notes.

More New Additions:

Season 9 introduces three new heroes, with Farseer Nobundo already generating considerable buzz with his Galaxy's Lens ability. Nearly 90 minions and Tavern spells are either joining or leaving the pool, creating dynamic new gameplay possibilities.

A damage cap adjustment is implemented for solo Battlegrounds, starting at 5 damage in the early game, increasing to 10 on turn 4 and 15 on turn 8. However, this cap is removed once you reach the top 4.

Minion Release Schedule:

  • December 3rd: Beasts, Dragons, Quilboar, Pirates, Naga, and Mechs enter the fray.
  • December 5th: Murlocs and Demons join the minion pool.
  • December 9th: Undead and Elementals arrive.

Download Hearthstone from the Google Play Store and prepare for launch!
