Heads up: music streaming service Spotify experienced an outage this morning.
According to IGN's sister site Downdetector, reports of Spotify outages started around 6 a.m. PT today, and at the time of this piece, issues were still being reported. We ourselves encountered difficulties accessing the service for much of the morning, and when we managed to open the app, it wouldn't play music.
Spotify has acknowledged the issues and is "working to resolve it as soon as possible." The company has also debunked rumors that the outage was due to a security hack.
