Story

Driven by grief and rage, he brutally eliminates the Joker, the mastermind behind the tragedy, and establishes tyrannical control over the planet.

With his mind twisted, Superman now sees himself as the supreme deity tasked with maintaining peace and order, willing to execute anyone he deems guilty. This cannot continue without leading to the planet's destruction. A group of superheroes forms the Insurgency to oppose this dictatorship, led by Batman. Despite their combined powers, they cannot defeat Superman's One Earth Regime without assistance.
