Civilization 7 Post-Release Roadmap Unveiled

Get ready for an exciting journey with *Civilization VII*, the latest in the iconic series by Firaxis Games and publisher 2K. This turn-based 4X strategy game, crafted by the legendary Sid Meier, has reached a gold standard, signaling the completion of its main development and setting the stage for an on-time release, barring any unforeseen issues. Mark your calendars for February 11, when *Civilization VII* will launch on a wide array of platforms including PS5, Xbox Series X/S, PS4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, and even the Steam Deck.

Early access will be granted to Deluxe and Founders Edition owners starting February 6, giving them a five-day head start. On launch day, expect a zero-day patch to ensure the smoothest gameplay experience right from the start.

The game's roadmap is packed with thrilling content. The first downloadable content (DLC), *Crossroads of the World*, will roll out in two exciting phases in March. In the first stage, players will command both Great Britain and Carthage, meeting the computer pioneer Ada Lovelace as a new leader. Just three weeks later, the second phase introduces Simon Bolivar as a leader, along with new civilizations Bulgaria and Nepal.

Looking ahead, the *Right to Rule* DLC, slated for release between April and September 2025, promises to add two more leaders, four new civilizations, and stunning natural wonders to the game's world.

Firaxis is committed to enhancing *Civilization VII* with new challenges and events. March will see the addition of in-game events and natural wonders like the Bermuda Triangle and Everest, adding more depth and excitement to your gameplay.
