"Deadpool Joins Marvel Snap in Maximum Effort Update"

Apr 14,2025 Author: Madison

Deadpool is taking center stage in Marvel Snap's latest update with the launch of the Maximum Effort season, which starts today. Fans of the Merc with a Mouth can look forward to seeing him alongside other fan favorites like Wolverine and Gwenpool as featured characters. But that's not all; the update brings a variety of exciting additions, including log-in bonuses featuring a Headpool card variant and a new refer-a-friend campaign where you can earn an exclusive Domino variant.

For those who love a bit of comic-book trivia, here's a fun fact: Gwenpool, despite her name, isn't actually related to Gwen Stacy or Deadpool. She's a multiverse-traveling comic fan from the 'real' world who finds herself trapped in the Marvel universe, adopting a superhero persona inspired by her favorite characters.

The Maximum Effort season isn't just about Deadpool and Gwenpool; it also introduces familiar names to fans of Deadpool's films, such as Ajax and Vanessa, known in the comics as Copycat. These are the comic versions, so brushing up on your Marvel history might come in handy, especially with the addition of sometime-sidekick Hydra Bob.

Marvel Snap Deadpool Update

For a limited time, from July 23rd, Cassandra Nova, the evil twin of Charles Xavier, will be exclusive to the Deadpool's Diner event. If you miss out on the event, you'll still have a chance to grab her from the token shop afterward.
