Torchlight: Infinite's eighth season, Sandlord, has arrived, marking the game's most expansive season to date, now officially live. This season introduces a slew of new features that revolutionize the gameplay experience, challenging players to construct a floating empire in the sky.
What’s in Store in Torchlight: Infinite’s Eighth Season Sandlord?
The centerpiece of the season is the Cloud Oasis, a city under your command. You'll gather resources from the Netherrealm and convert them into tangible benefits by managing workers across five distinct professions. This system unlocks new trade routes, bonuses, and seasonal rewards, seamlessly blending ARPG combat with strategic simulation elements.
Thea, previously known as the divine channeler, has undergone a transformation into the Blasphemer, now dealing in darker forces. Instead of blessings, she spreads desecration, inflicting Erosion Damage that intensifies over time.
The Deep Space region has also been revamped, introducing five new stages packed with monsters and survival challenges. A new item type, Probes, akin to Compasses, occupies a unique slot, enhancing both the rewards and the difficulty level.
New Stages Are Here
The endgame experience is enriched with new Legendary Stages, which, though rare, offer unique loot setups that can alter your gameplay strategy. Some zones deviate from the norm; for instance, the Abyssal Vault contains no enemies, only Mystery Chests ripe for exploration.
Conversely, the Sea of Rites is overrun with non-aggressive goblins. Eliminating them can potentially summon a hidden boss. The Supreme Showdown introduces the Golden Gaze mechanic, allowing both you and the bosses to transform enemies into treasure with a well-timed strike.
As Torchlight: Infinite celebrates its second anniversary, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and immerse yourself in the latest season's offerings.
