"Freedom Wars Remastered: Boost Your Arsenal - Where to Find More Combat Items"

Freedom Wars Remastered offers players a variety of ways to customize their loadout for operations, and while major components like weapons and Thrones tend to remain consistent across missions, Combat Items provide dynamic, consumable options with unique tactical advantages. These items are finite resources that can drastically affect your performance in battle, making it essential to both equip and acquire them efficiently.

While you may occasionally earn Combat Items by completing operations, the amount is often insufficient for sustained use. Additionally, early in the game you’re limited to equipping only one Combat Item at a time. Fortunately, there are clear steps you can take to expand this limit and ensure you're well-stocked before heading into your next mission.

How To Equip More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

To increase the number of Combat Items you can carry into battle, you'll need to obtain specific Entitlements. Begin by visiting your cell and interacting with the [ttpp]. From here, navigate to the Equipment section under Entitlements, then move one tab to the right to find the One-Item Permit option at the top of the list. Each subsequent permit allows you to equip an additional Combat Item, up to a maximum of four.

These permits become available as you progress through the story, though all four can be purchased once you reach CODE Level 3. Note that later permits will not appear until you've acquired the previous one, so be sure to check back regularly as you level up. When equipping a Combat Item, the full stack will be made available at the start of each operation, meaning if you have ten Frag Grenades, you’ll begin with all ten ready to use.

Additionally, your Accessory unit can also carry one Combat Item, although they will use it based on their own behavior settings rather than direct player control.

Where To Get More Combat Items In Freedom Wars Remastered

Once you’ve progressed past the initial missions and unlocked The Warren—the central HUB area—you’ll gain access to a key location for acquiring more Combat Items. Head to the upper level on the right side of The Warren to find the store called Zakka. While this shop sells weapons and other gear, selecting the “Buy Items” option allows you to browse two critical categories:

  • Munitions: Includes all items that deal damage to enemies during combat, such as grenades and explosive charges.
  • Medical Supplies: Covers healing items, status effect remedies, and ammo-replenishing tools like Medkits.

Combat Items are sold individually, and purchasing large quantities can quickly consume a significant amount of Entitlement Points. Because of this, donating unused or outdated materials to raise your Entitlement Point balance becomes especially worthwhile when stocking up on high-demand items like Medkits.

Although some operations do reward players with Combat Items upon completion, this method isn't efficient for mass collection. Missions take time to complete, and you may end up using more items than you gain, making the store the most reliable source for building and maintaining a strong supply.
