It's official: the Nintendo Switch 2 is set to launch on June 5, and the excitement is palpable. During a recent Nintendo Direct, fans got a glimpse of new games and detailed information about the Switch 2's hardware. As anticipation builds, preorders for essential accessories, including microSD Express cards—the only compatible storage option for the Switch 2—are now available.

With demand soaring, many of these cards are selling out quickly. However, GameStop has stepped up with its own line of microSD Express cards, available for preorder in capacities ranging from 256GB ($49.99), 512GB ($84.99), to 1TB ($149.99). These cards will launch on June 5, coinciding with the Switch 2's release. To keep up with restocks, bookmark our microSD Express cards hub page.
The microSD Express cards are flying off the shelves at online retailers, so if you're planning to upgrade your storage ahead of the Switch 2's launch, act quickly to secure your preorders. While the Switch 2 comes with a generous 256GB of internal storage—far more than the original Switch's 32GB—gamers with expansive libraries may still find additional storage beneficial.
Listings Are Available
