Jump King, the notoriously challenging 2D platformer that has earned a cult following among gamers who thrive on frustration and perseverance, is now available on mobile. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has officially launched worldwide for both Android and iOS devices following a limited soft launch in select regions earlier this year.
Originally released on PC in 2019 and later on consoles, Jump King has now made its way to mobile platforms as a free-to-play title. The mobile version preserves the same punishing gameplay mechanics that fans have come to love—or loathe—offering players a test of reflexes, timing, and sheer determination.
In Jump King, you take control of a silent armored protagonist whose only ability is jumping—yet every leap demands absolute precision. One misstep, and you plummet back to the beginning. There are no checkpoints; each jump autosaves, meaning there's no room for error.
Your ultimate objective? Reach the summit to find the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. But don’t expect any mercy along the way. A single mistimed jump sends you all the way back down, forcing you to start from scratch.
The mobile controls have been carefully adapted for touchscreen devices. Simply hold to charge your jump and release to launch yourself upward. It sounds easy, but the game quickly turns into a battle between patience and panic, skill and split-second decisions.
Jump King Mobile introduces a heart-based energy system. Players begin with 300 hearts, losing one each time they fall. To replenish hearts, you can either spin a daily fortune wheel for a chance to earn between 10 and 150 hearts or watch ads for additional refills—capped at 150 free hearts per day.
The mobile version also includes two full expansions:
