Prepare for a magical journey on the rails! MageTrain, a fresh take on classic Snake gameplay, arrives on mobile next month. Developed by Tidepool Games, this free-to-play roguelike blends auto-battler mechanics with strategic positioning for a surprisingly deep experience. Pre-order now on iOS and Android!

Inspired by Nimble Quest, MageTrain expands on the concept of a growing hero chain, adding more characters, dungeons, and a significantly enhanced skill system. Guide your magical train of warriors through enemy-infested arenas, strategically placing each hero to maximize their attacks and avoid disastrous collisions.

At launch, nine unlockable heroes await, each with unique abilities that shift based on their position in the train. Some excel as leaders, while others offer crucial support from the rear. Explore eight dungeons, battle 28 enemy types, and experiment with 30 diverse skills to forge powerful team synergies.

Embark on a roguelike adventure with a path-based system reminiscent of Slay the Spire and FTL. Each run presents randomized challenges, offering opportunities to gather gold, power-ups, and upgrades to refine your strategy. Failure is a learning experience, making every attempt a unique adventure.

Strategic positioning is paramount. While your heroes auto-attack, you must skillfully maneuver your expanding train to evade hazards and optimize your battle formations. The longer your run, the stronger your heroes become, but one wrong move can end your journey instantly.
