How to get a Mount in Rune Slayer

Dive into the expansive world of Rune Slayer, a Roblox MMORPG brimming with quests, crafting, dungeons, and even fishing! But no true MMORPG is complete without a trusty mount, and Rune Slayer delivers. While acquiring a mount isn't overly complex, the game doesn't explicitly guide you through the process. Fear not, this guide will show you the way.

Before You Saddle Up

Before you picture yourself galloping across Rune Slayer's landscapes, you'll need a couple of prerequisites:

• Reach Level 20: This shouldn't take more than a few hours of dedicated questing, job completion, and mob slaying. Having friends to team up with will speed things up considerably.
• Tame a Pet: You'll receive a quest that explains the process, but here's the gist:
  • Find a tamable animal (deer, wolf, spider, etc.).
  • Attack it once.
  • Hold a food item the animal enjoys (apples for deer, raw deer meat for wolves).
  • A heart will appear above its head. If it fully grows, you've tamed it! If it turns black, try again with a different animal.

Embark on the Mount Quest

Once you hit level 20, head to Jimmy the Stable Master in Wayshire. He'll give you "Jimmy's Delivery" quest, requiring you to deliver a package to the Ashenshire Stable Master. Journey north through Wayshire's northern entrance, following the path through Greatwood Forest (avoid straying too far; the mobs here can be challenging). Continue north until you reach Ashenshire, identifiable by its large houses perched atop massive trees.

Find the rope leading upwards and climb. The first NPC you encounter will be Madonna the Stable Master. Talk to her and select "I have a package for you." After she accepts it, retrace your steps back to Wayshire.

Upon your return, speak with Jimmy; he'll reward you with a saddle. The saddle won't appear in your inventory (to prevent accidental loss or sale).

Mounting Your Pet

Summon your pet (hold "T"), approach it, and select "Mount" (press "E"). Enjoy your newfound speed across Rune Slayer! This works with all mountable pets.
