Weapon damage in NieR: Automata varies with each swing. Upgrading reduces this variance and boosts potential damage.
The Iron Pipe boasts the game's widest damage range but also possesses exceptionally high potential damage. Its unpredictable nature makes it a gamble, but definitely worth acquiring and testing. Here's how:
How To Obtain the Iron Pipe in NieR: Automata
The Iron Pipe is a rare fishing reward found in sewers. Both sewers offer equal chances; the one near Resistance Camp is most accessible. Fast travel to the camp, then head right towards the Amusement Park. After crossing a small gap, you'll find an open manhole under a highway.
Descend into the sewer, enter the water, and begin fishing. Expect various junk items, sellable for in-game currency. There's no guaranteed method; obtaining the pipe might take seconds or minutes. The sewer's darkness necessitates activating your Pod's light for better visibility during fishing. Another sewer is located en route to the Flooded City.
