Nintendo has officially announced that pre-orders for the highly anticipated Nintendo Switch 2 will kick off in the U.S. on April 24, 2025. The console will retain its original price of $449.99 and is set to launch on June 5, as previously planned. This news was shared directly on Nintendo's website, which also highlighted that prices for Switch 2 accessories will see adjustments due to shifts in market conditions. Nintendo noted that future price changes for any of its products could occur, influenced by ongoing market dynamics.
In addition to the base console, the Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World bundle will remain priced at $499.99. Both the physical and digital versions of Mario Kart World will be available at $79.99, while Donkey Kong Bananza will cost $69.99 at launch. These prices will not change when the console hits the market.
