A decade ago, Picture Cross burst onto the scene as World’s Biggest Picture Cross, setting out to become the ultimate nonogram app for mobile devices. Today, boasting over 10,000 puzzles, Picture Cross is celebrating its 10th anniversary by rolling out new modes and adding even more brain-teasing challenges.
Picture Cross offers an expansive array of puzzles, featuring various grid sizes and difficulty levels ranging from Easy to Expert. The game stays true to the classic nonogram format, where players use numerical clues to fill in the correct squares, gradually unveiling stunning pixel art images.
The images you unlock come in the form of themed packs and hidden poster scenes. With over 60 themed puzzle packs, you can dive into Motorsport for a hundred high-speed puzzles or explore the cosmos with Moonshot, a set of 100 space-themed challenges.
For those with a nostalgic bent, Mini Golf offers puzzles set on charming courses, while Rockstar caters to music enthusiasts. Sci-Fi Celebration will delight fans of aliens and warp drives. You can also tackle Mythical Monsters, delve into Fairy Tales, or explore ancient ruins in the Archaeology pack.
For more down-to-earth experiences, try A Day At The Races or The Airport, each unveiling a new scene. Pirates! provides a wild shipload of puzzles to conquer. And if you've already solved everything, the Encyclopedia of Picture Cross presents a remixed collection to keep the challenge alive.
To celebrate this milestone, Picture Cross introduces a Map View to help you plan your puzzle-solving journey. A new Tournament Mode is now available for competitive puzzlers. Alongside these, a handy playing guide offers strategies for solving puzzles, with both classic and multi-color puzzles included in all modes.
