The Open Alpha Test kicks off on February 27th, 2025, and runs until March 2nd, 2025, for both console and PC players. The announcement was made during a February PlayStation State of Play presentation.

How to Join the Open Alpha Test

This is an open test, so access is unrestricted. On February 27th:

1. Visit your preferred digital storefront (Steam, PlayStation Store, Xbox Store, etc.).
2. Search for "Splitgate 2".
3. Download the Crossplay Alpha Test.

What Awaits You in the Open Alpha?

The Open Alpha will showcase the game's crossplay functionality and introduce a thrilling new mode: 24-player Multi-Team Portal Warfare. This massive mode pits three teams of eight against each other on Splitgate's largest map yet. Expect new weapons, perks, and equipment to experiment with alongside the classic, chaotic gameplay.
