Squad Busters Retires: Exclusive Emotes Now Available

Squad Busters is ditching Win Streaks! This means the days of climbing the endless win ladder for extra rewards are over. But don't worry, there's more to this update than just the removal of win streaks.

Why the Change and When?

Squad Busters developers decided to remove the win streak system because it was causing more frustration than fun. Instead of fostering a sense of accomplishment, it added unnecessary pressure.

The win streak feature will be removed on December 16th. However, your highest win streak will remain on your profile as a memento. Players who reached certain milestones (0-9, 10, 25, 50, and 100 wins) before December 16th will receive exclusive emotes as a thank you.

Unfortunately, there will be no refunds for coins spent on win streaks. The developers explained that this would disrupt the game's balance between free-to-play and paying players.

Player reaction to the change is mixed. Some welcome the shift towards a less pay-to-win experience, while others are less enthusiastic about the removal and the relatively modest compensation.

Dive into Cyber Squad!

This update also coincides with the launch of Squad Busters' new season, Cyber Squad. This season is packed with rewards, including a free Solarpunk Heavy Skin.
