During Shift Up's IPO press conference on June 25, CFO Ahn Jae-woo announced that the company is actively considering a PC version of Stellar Blade. He emphasized that this move would be an excellent way to further monetize the IP, especially considering the current distribution of the PS5 and the shifting preference of AAA game consumers towards PCs. CEO Kim Hyung-Tae further elaborated that while they are reviewing the possibility of a PC release, they cannot disclose specific timing due to existing contractual obligations. This aligns with the company’s public filings indicating plans for a PC release and a sequel, showcasing their commitment to expanding the reach of this successful IP.
Kim also shared that the primary goal in developing Stellar Blade was to build a high-value IP to establish a global brand and cultivate a dedicated fanbase. They consciously avoided microtransactions to preserve the game's integrity and plan to communicate this dedication to their fans effectively.
The excitement doesn't end with a potential PC release; Stellar Blade is set to receive a series of updates throughout the year. Fans can look forward to the eagerly awaited Photo Mode in August, new costumes in October, and a major collaboration announcement later this year.

Stellar Blade has emerged as one of the year's standout titles, selling approximately one million copies worldwide within just two months of its release.
