New Empires RTS mode:

In this mode, you command both fleets and a nation. As the blue nation, train troops in ports, lead fleets to defeat enemy armadas, and capture rival ports with ground forces. Deploy paratroopers to seize enemy ports or reinforce your own. Victory comes by controlling all enemy ports without them regaining any. Defeat occurs when you lose all ports and cannot reclaim them. Maximize troop training to win land battles after naval victories, but losing a fleet battle sinks all troops on board if attacking.

Tips for port management:

1. Early on, send troops via warships to capture oil derricks for extra income. Unoccupied derricks require minimal forces to secure.

2. Monitor enemy movements and act swiftly. Exploit nation conflicts to gain strategic edges. Attack enemy ports or seize their oil derricks when their fleets are distracted.

3. Cancel troop training or fleet building if a port is at risk of capture. This prevents resources from benefiting the enemy.

4. Retreat from sea battles when necessary to minimize losses, despite the risks of withdrawal.

5. Track income to build fleets or train troops promptly. Early starts accelerate your attack timeline.

6. Recall fleets to defend ports under attack. Reinforce weak ports with returning fleets to bolster naval or ground defenses.

7. Strong troop numbers in ports prevent capture. Defending ports have an advantage in troop battles, which are separate from fleet combat.
