The War - a classic childhood card game enjoyed by nearly everyone. The rules are straightforward: players split the deck evenly, then each turn reveals the top card from their pile. The player with the higher card collects both and places them at the bottom of their deck. If cards are tied, a "war" begins - players set two cards face down followed by two cards face up, with the higher face-up card winning all cards in play. Victory is achieved by collecting every card. Cards rank from lowest to highest (6 7 8 9 10 J Q K A) with one exception: the six beats the ace.
