Adin Ross promet de rester « pour de bon cette fois »

Adin Ross confirme son retour définitif à Kick, mettant fin à des mois de spéculation. Le streamer populaire, qui a brièvement quitté la plateforme en 2024, l'a récemment rejoint et a déclaré son intention de rester "pour de bon". Cette annonce fait suite à son retour en direct très attendu, aux côtés de ses collègues créateurs Cuffem, Shaggy et Konvy, le 4 janvier 2025, marquant son premier stream en plus de deux mois.

Le passage de Ross à Kick depuis Twitch en 2023 a considérablement stimulé la croissance de la plateforme. Son départ inattendu plus tôt cette année a alimenté les rumeurs d'une rupture avec le PDG de Kick, Ed Craven, mais une diffusion en direct conjointe en décembre 2024 a confirmé son engagement continu. Un tweet récent a encore solidifié cette décision, rassurant les fans sur son retour permanent.

Au-delà de son retour, Ross a fait allusion à des projets « plus grands », alimentant les spéculations des fans. Beaucoup pensent que cela est lié à ses événements de boxe Brand Risk, une entreprise qu'il a l'intention de développer avec le soutien de Kick. Des problèmes juridiques antérieurs avec Misfits Boxing au début de 2024 mettent en évidence les défis potentiels pour les futurs projets de risque de marque.

La décision de Ross est une victoire importante pour lui et pour Kick. La plateforme, cofondée par Bijan Tehrani, vise soit à surpasser, soit à acquérir Twitch, un objectif apparemment à portée de main compte tenu de sa dynamique actuelle et de ses partenariats de haut niveau.
