Using Your App and Reader with the Same Sensor

When using the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, alarms can be received either on your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone, but not simultaneously. To receive alarms on your phone, start the sensor with the app. Conversely, to receive alarms on your reader, initiate the sensor with your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader. Once started with the reader, you can still scan the sensor using your phone.

Remember, the app and the reader do not share data with each other. For comprehensive data, scan your sensor every 8 hours with the device you're using. Otherwise, your reports may not reflect all the data. You can upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
