Sony has announced an exciting lineup for the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for May 2025, featuring a diverse selection of titles that cater to various gaming preferences. The announcement was made through a detailed PlayStation.Blog post, showcasing a total of nine new games available to PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium subscribers starting May 20, 2025.
For those subscribed to the Extra tier, the highlight is undoubtedly Sand Land, an action RPG based on the iconic manga by Akira Toriyama, available on both PS4 and PS5. Joining Sand Land are other notable titles such as Five Nights at Freddy’s: Help Wanted – Full Time Edition and the comprehensive S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy. The latter's Enhanced Edition, announced just this morning, is also set to launch on May 20 for PS5, PC, and Xbox Series X | S. GSC Game World has confirmed that owners of the original trilogy on consoles will receive the Enhanced Edition at no additional cost, though it remains unclear if this benefit extends to PlayStation Plus subscribers.
PlayStation Plus Premium members have an exclusive addition with Battle Engine Aquila, a classic sci-fi action game playable on both PS4 and PS5. In this title, players command a versatile war vehicle capable of engaging enemies both in the air and on the ground.
