2025 is here, and it's time for IGN's updated list of the 25 best modern PC games. This isn't an objective ranking; taste is subjective, and what one gamer considers a masterpiece, another might find tedious. This list reflects the collective opinion of IGN's PC gaming team, using a weighted voting system. It's a celebration of games we love, designed to inspire you to try them if you haven't already.
Many excellent recent PC games didn't make the cut – a consequence of limited slots and diverse preferences.
