If you're a fan of JRPGs, you're likely already familiar with the renowned publisher Kemco, known for bringing a variety of cult classics from Japan to the gaming world. Their latest release, Alphadia III, is now available on both Android and iOS, perfectly timed for your weekend gaming sessions.
If the name rings a bell, chances are you've already delved into the worlds of Alphadia I and II. However, Alphadia III takes a different route by serving as a prequel to the Energi War saga. This installment follows the journey of an Energi clone named Alfonso as he seeks his freedom.
The game retains the deep, turn-based combat system fans loved in the original titles, enhanced with SP Skills that can dramatically shift the course of battle. Additionally, Alphadia III introduces new mechanics such as Arrays and Energi Crocks, adding layers of strategy to your gameplay. You'll also get to command your own ship, which you can upgrade into a seaplane, expanding your exploration possibilities.
SP Skills, a staple in many JRPGs like Dragon Quest, bring a fresh tactical edge to your battles. The Energi Crock feature allows you to recycle magical items into Energi, while Arrays enhance your strategic options, making each encounter more engaging.
Alphadia III builds upon the mechanics of its predecessors, though some fans might miss the forward progression in the timeline. Nevertheless, it offers a unique perspective on the Energi War and comes with stunning pixel graphics that enrich your gaming experience.
