The long-awaited Crowned forms for Zacian and Zamazenta are finally arriving in Pokémon Go, bringing more than just a stat increase. Beginning with Pokémon Go Fest 2025, you can activate two new Adventure Effects linked to these Warrior Pokémon's signature moves: Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash.
These Adventure Effects for Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta provide temporary power-ups during raids and Max Battles, giving you a crucial advantage. Each use requires 5,000 Stardust and five Candy for the specific Pokémon, enhancing offense with Crowned Sword Zacian or defense with Crowned Shield Zamazenta for six minutes.
To access these abilities, you must first transform Zacian and Zamazenta into their Crowned forms. This demands 1,000 units of either Crowned Sword Energy or Crowned Shield Energy, available through five-star raids or Special Research during Go Fest 2025. Once transformed, switching between forms becomes free and unlimited.
Their arrival will also be felt in Max Battles, where Crowned Zacian and Zamazenta will play a significant role despite not having Dynamax capabilities. Their signature moves, Behemoth Blade and Behemoth Bash, operate similarly to Max Attacks and can be upgraded alongside special Guard and Spirit moves unique to this new format.

Zacian and Zamazenta will feature in five-star raids throughout Pokémon Go Fest 2025: Global, starting July 13th. After defeating them, you'll encounter their base forms and earn Crowned Energy. Prior to that, Pokémon Go will celebrate its ninth anniversary, reintroducing birthday-themed versions of classic Pokémon alongside a host of rewards to collect.
