Capcom重启经典IP战略：Okami和Onimusha领衔回归
Capcom于12月13日发布新闻稿，宣布了新的Onimusha和Okami游戏，并表示将继续致力于重启经典IP，为玩家带来高质量内容。
Okami和Onimusha系列的回归
最新Onimusha游戏设定在京都江户时代，将于2026年发布。Capcom还宣布了Okami的续作，但发售日期尚未公布。这款游戏将由初代游戏的导演和开发团队共同开发。
Capcom表示：“Capcom正专注于重新激活那些近期没有推出新作品的休眠IP。” “公司正努力通过利用其丰富的游戏内容库来进一步提升企业价值，这包括重启上述两个游戏在内的过去IP，以便持续制作高效、高质量的游戏。”
除了重启经典IP，Capcom还在开发《怪物猎人：荒野》和《卡普空格斗收藏2》，两款游戏都计划于2025年发布。 尽管如此，Capcom仍在继续开发新游戏，最近发行的游戏包括《九神：女神之路》和《远古入侵》。
Capcom超级选举或将揭示未来作品
2024年2月，Capcom举办了一场“超级选举”，玩家可以投票选择他们最喜欢的角色以及最想看到的续作。投票结果显示，玩家最期待的续作和重制版包括《恐龙危机》、《暗黑破坏神》、《鬼武者》和《呼吸之火》。
《恐龙危机》和《暗黑破坏神》系列几十年来几乎没有得到关注，它们最后的作品分别于1997年和2003年发布。《呼吸之火6》是一款在线RPG游戏，于2016年7月推出，但在2017年9月停运，运营时间仅一年多。因此，这些知名系列大部分都已沉寂多年，或许是时候进行重制或推出续作了。
