Citizen Sleeper: Dice Repair Guide

In Citizen Sleeper 2, damaged dice are a common occurrence, primarily due to accumulating stress from failed actions or starvation. Each die can withstand three hits before requiring repair. This guide explains how to restore your dice to optimal rolling condition.

Why Dice Break

Stress is the primary culprit behind broken dice. Failing actions or experiencing starvation significantly increases stress levels, leading to dice damage.

How to Repair Dice

Dice repair isn't available until you reach Far Spindle and meet Bliss, who unlocks the Rig Workshop on your ship. The Rig Workshop offers two repair options when you're not on a Contract:

• Improvised Repairs: Costs 2 Scrap Components, repairs one die, but increases the Glitch meter, raising the risk of a glitched die.

• Dice Repair: Costs 1 Rare Component (more difficult to obtain), repairs one die with a smaller increase to the Glitch meter.

While Rare Components are scarcer, Dice Repair is generally preferable if affordable. Later in the game, Rare Components become more readily available.

Repairing Glitched Dice

Glitched dice have a significantly reduced chance of success (20% positive, 80% negative). While there's no direct repair method, a story event after the "Diagnose Your Frame" drive will repair a single glitched die.
