Clash of Clans is set to ditch Troop Training times in major overhaul

Clash of Clans is about to undergo a massive transformation: troop training times are being completely eliminated! Get ready to deploy your army almost instantly and jump into battle faster than ever before. However, this means it's now or never for your Training Potions and Treats—use them up or risk losing them before the update rolls out. They'll be removed from in-app purchases and chest rewards, though you can still find them in the Trader and Gold Pass for a limited time. After the month is up, any remaining potions and treats will be converted to Gems.

While Clash of Clans remains a beloved mobile game, its age is showing in several areas. Supercell recognizes this and has been steadily modernizing the game. The removal of troop training times is arguably the most significant change yet, following the removal of training costs in 2022.

This exciting update means no more waiting! To help you take full advantage of this change, Supercell is introducing a new "Match Anytime" feature. This allows you to attack a snapshot of another player's base if no real-time opponents are available. You’ll still earn rewards, but the defending player won't lose anything if their base is defeated. This mechanic already exists in Clan Wars and Legend League, but it's now becoming a standard feature.
