Krafton's eagerly awaited mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular extraction dungeon crawler, Dark and Darker, is gearing up for a soft launch in Canada on February 5th. Fans worldwide, however, won't have to wait long, as a global launch is expected sometime in the first half of this year.
For those unfamiliar with the game, Dark and Darker blends the thrill of an extraction shooter with the classic elements of a dungeon crawler. Whether you're adventuring solo or with a party composed of various D&D-inspired classes such as fighters, rogues, barbarians, wizards, and bards, you'll navigate through an expansive dungeon, battling monsters and rival loot seekers.
The original PC version from Ironmace was a significant hit, prompting Krafton to swiftly secure the rights for a mobile version. As the global launch approaches, Krafton is also working on several enhancements to Dark and Darker Mobile. Key updates include modifications to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, which will also see structural changes to enhance party play. Additionally, class differentiation will be refined with the introduction of new basic attacks and combat mechanics, alongside a broader selection of weapons and skills.
Pre-registration for Dark and Darker Mobile remains open on the official website. If you're new to the game, don't miss out on our comprehensive guide to Dark and Darker, packed with essential tips to boost your gameplay experience.
