Fallout: New Vegas 导演 Josh Sawyer 及其他多位 Fallout 开发者都表达了参与新 Fallout 游戏开发的意愿，但前提条件是……

除了 Sawyer，其他几位 Fallout 开发者也表达了回归该系列的意愿。去年，Fallout 的联合创始人 Tim Cain 和 Leonard Boyarsky 表示他们很乐意参与 Fallout: New Vegas 的重制版开发。在接受 The Gamer 采访时，Cain 表示，虽然他们渴望参与 Fallout 的开发，但他回归的条件也取决于他被提供的创作自由程度——如果他能做一些新的东西。

Obsidian 的 CEO Feargus Urquhart 也表示，如果机会出现，他很乐意参与另一款 Fallout 游戏的开发。不过，在去年 1 月接受 Game Pressure 采访时，Urquhart 确认当时并没有新的 Fallout 游戏在筹备中。“我们没有参与 Fallout 的开发，我们甚至还没有讨论过它会是什么样子，”他说。
