Freedom Wars Remastered: How To Use The Cell Garden

Quick Links

Early in Freedom Wars Remastered, accessing the Cell Garden becomes crucial for the main storyline. Subsequently, it serves as a safe haven for resource farming, offering a less hazardous alternative to standard operations.

Multiple Cell Gardens exist throughout the game, each accessed similarly regardless of your current level. Below, we detail the process of locating and utilizing any Cell Garden for efficient resource gathering.

Where To Find Cell Garden Entrances in Freedom Wars Remastered

Mattias's request to investigate a ghost girl story initiates your search for the Cell Garden. Begin in Level 2's main cell block (2-A000). Locate a small, elevator-like room in the left corner. Interacting with it transports you to 2-E165 (Enzo's location).

Proceed to the right wall in 2-E165 and find another small room containing a device leading to 2-G100. Repeat this process; the far room in 2-G100 houses the device that unlocks the Cell Garden.

This route remains consistent across all levels. Unlocking the Quick-Travel Entitlement significantly reduces travel time. Post-main quest completion, access to any Cell Garden is unrestricted, but acquiring this Entitlement is highly recommended.

Each device leading to the next area or the Cell Garden is clearly marked with a blue door icon.

How the Cell Garden Functions in Freedom Wars Remastered

The main story mission's Cell Garden interaction differs from subsequent visits. Here's the standard Cell Garden experience:

  • A one-minute time limit applies before expulsion.
  • The room's layout is randomized each entry.
  • Eight resources, depicted as small green orbs, are scattered throughout.

Entitlements purchased from the Window on Liberty extend your Cell Garden time. Certain layouts present more complex puzzles, making time extensions beneficial. The first upgrade, granting a two-minute limit, becomes available at CODE level 3.
