Freedom Wars Remastered: Max CODE Level Revealed

Quick Links

In Freedom Wars Remastered, every action you take is a step towards reducing your staggering one million-year sentence imposed at birth. As you work tirelessly to shorten your prison term, you're also focused on boosting your CODE level to simplify life as a sinner.

Your CODE level is key to unlocking more Entitlements, which can enhance your gameplay significantly. Whether it's allowing you to run longer, or upgrading your comrades and gear to better combat Abductors, progressing through the CODE levels is essential. Here's a breakdown of what you need to know.

How Many CODE Levels Are In Freedom Wars Remastered

Freedom Wars Remastered features a total of eight CODE levels for players to advance through. Once you elevate your CODE level, there's no going back, so you don't have to worry about inadvertently increasing your sentence beyond what's necessary for your current level, especially in Deadly Sinner Mode. Each CODE level upgrade grants you access to new Entitlements to purchase, and opens up additional operations to tackle.

How To Increase Your CODE Level In Freedom Wars Remastered

To check the conditions for upgrading your CODE level, simply talk to your Accessory in your cell and select "Check CODE Upgrade Conditions". You'll typically need to reach specific year milestones in your prison sentence and unlock certain Entitlements. Make sure to review this menu regularly to avoid wasting your Entitlement Points on less beneficial upgrades, as you might need to donate resources to replenish them later.

Donating a single high-end resource or weapon often provides enough points to unlock numerous Entitlements.

To progress your CODE level, you must fulfill all the listed conditions, but remember, your CODE level progression is closely linked to the main storyline. You'll need to complete main story missions and operations alongside meeting these conditions to pass the CODE exam, which is integrated into the story itself. Sometimes, the main story missions can serve as a substitute for the CODE exam, helping you reach the next level.

Operations are also categorized by CODE levels, which generally reflect their difficulty. You'll complete most operations as you progress through the story within each CODE level. Additionally, some optional operations may become available after you advance, offering extra practice for those who might not feel ready for the challenges of their new CODE level.
