In a departure from the original Gothic, where players assumed the role of the Nameless Hero, the remake introduces you to Nyras, a prisoner navigating the same unforgiving world. Despite this change, Nyras's ultimate goal remains unchanged: survival in a harsh environment.
The demo for the Gothic Remake was launched during the Steam Next Fest event and has already shattered records for concurrent players among all entries in the Gothic series. This milestone underscores the immense anticipation and enthusiasm surrounding the remake.
