WB Games has thrilled fans of the Harry Potter universe with a delightful announcement: starting this Thursday, Hogwarts Legacy will support mods, exclusively for PC players. This feature will be the centerpiece of an upcoming patch, available for download on both Steam and the Epic Games Store.
The update introduces the Hogwarts Legacy Creator Kit, a toolkit that empowers enthusiasts to craft new content, ranging from dungeons and quests to character edits. The renowned platform CurseForge will manage and distribute these user-generated mods. Additionally, Hogwarts Legacy will include a mod manager, simplifying the process for players to discover and install captivating mods with ease.
On launch day, several pre-approved mods will be ready for exploration, including the exciting "Dungeon of Doom." This new dungeon invites players to battle a variety of enemies and unveil hidden secrets. However, there's an important note to consider: to access these mods, players must link their accounts to a WB Games account.
The patch will also enhance character customization with new hairstyles and additional outfits. In the trailer, developers provided a sneak peek at some of the mods that will be available.
In other exciting news, the sequel to this adventure game is already in the works. Warner Bros. Discovery has identified it as one of their top priorities for the upcoming years.
