Ubisoft unveiled the newest Rainbow Six Siege operator, Rauora, at the Six Invitational. This New Zealand-based attacker boasts a unique gadget: the DOM launcher.
The DOM launcher is a deployable, bulletproof shield designed for doorways. While indestructible by bullets, it's vulnerable to explosives. A crucial element is its triggered opening mechanism: attackers open it instantly, while defenders face a three-second delay – a significant difference, especially during defuser situations.

Rauora also brings the Reaper MK2, a new fully automatic pistol with a red dot sight and high-capacity magazine, to the game. She can also equip the M249 LMG or the 417 marksman rifle.
Rauora will arrive on the test servers next week, with a later release date for the main game.
