Capcom has officially announced that the first major post-launch update for *Monster Hunter Wilds*, titled Update 1, will be released on Thursday, April 3 Pacific Time, and April 4 UK time. In their latest showcase video, Capcom not only confirmed the release date but also provided a detailed look at what players can expect from this exciting update.
One of the standout features of Title Update 1 is the introduction of the Grand Hub, a new social space where players can engage in novel interactions. Here, you'll have the opportunity to enjoy a fun new mini-game called Barrel Bowling and soak in the atmosphere as the Diva performs live at night.
Alongside the new social hub, Title Update 1 introduces Mizutsune, a leviathan monster known for its perilous bubbles, to the *Monster Hunter Wilds* roster. Players can also take on a Zoh Shia quest, with an Arch-tempered Rey Dau event quest set to launch later.
Competitive players will be thrilled to know that Arena Quests are being added with this update, allowing players to compete for the fastest completion times. All players will receive free content, including classic gestures from the series, and the first Cosmetic DLC Pack will be available alongside Title Update 1.
Looking ahead, Capcom teased a collaboration with an unannounced Capcom game coming to *Monster Hunter Wilds* at the end of May. A second title update is slated for the summer, promising the arrival of a new monster.
While PC gamers have been vocal about performance issues with the PC version of *Monster Hunter Wilds* since its launch, the showcase did not address any upcoming performance improvements.
