Maintaining its position among Steam's bestsellers, Schedule 1 continues to impress with regular updates. Solo developer Tyler showcased previews of the forthcoming update in a May 1 Twitter (X) post.
The sneak peek includes multiple screenshots from the nearly complete beta version. Highlights include a new establishment labeled "Stash and Dash," an interactive Jukebox believed to offer customizable music options, and an intriguing empty passageway.
While the official release date remains unconfirmed, the update will first debut on the beta branch. Players can opt in via Steam's game settings to experience these changes early. For additional insights into future plans, the game's Trello board provides ongoing development updates.
During a recent Twitch development stream, Tyler shared his design process and long-term vision for the game. Viewers witnessed 3D model previews of planned environment expansions.
The developer outlined aspirations to introduce a murky, industrial-style district while expanding the town's affluent sector with cliffside residences. Subsequent updates may focus on developing the offshore island visible from main areas.
Given the solo development nature of the project, these ambitious expansions will require significant time to implement. Nonetheless, the community remains enthusiastic about these potential future additions.
