Marvel Rivals, the acclaimed hero shooter, is a smash hit on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. However, NetEase, the developer, has consistently stated it won't launch on the original Nintendo Switch due to performance limitations. But what about the upcoming Nintendo Switch 2?
Recently, at the DICE Summit in Las Vegas, we spoke with Marvel Rivals producer Weicong Wu. He offered encouraging news for Switch fans, suggesting a Switch 2 release is a strong possibility. Wu explained that NetEase is already collaborating with Nintendo, working with development kits. The Nintendo Switch 2 release date is currently unannounced, but a Nintendo Direct is scheduled for April 2nd. The Human Torch and The Thing are slated to join the roster on February 21st.
