In addition to the standard console, Nintendo is offering a Nintendo Switch 2 + Mario Kart World Bundle for $499.99 in the US. This bundle comes with the system and a download code for the Mario Kart World game, ready for you on launch day, June 5. If you're looking to buy Mario Kart World separately, be prepared for a price tag of $79.99, reflecting Nintendo's confidence in their fan-favorite racing game.

You can register your interest with Nintendo to be notified about preorders for the Nintendo Switch 2 and its accessories through My Nintendo Store. Invitations to purchase will be sent out via email on a first-come, first-served basis, giving priority to users who have a 12-month Nintendo Switch Online membership and have logged at least 50 gameplay hours by April 2, 2025. Once priority users receive their invites, remaining eligible registrants will be considered. Keep in mind, these invitations are non-transferable and valid for only 72 hours. You're allowed to purchase one system and one of each accessory per account. Major retailers are also expected to start accepting preorders on April 9, 2025.
