Phoenix 2 Upgrades: Campaign and Controller Enhancements

The popular Android shoot'em up, Phoenix 2, just received a massive update brimming with new content and features. Fans of its fast-paced action and strategic gameplay should read on for the full rundown.

What's New?

The headliner is the addition of a brand-new campaign mode. Gone are the days of solely relying on daily missions; players can now immerse themselves in a complete story-driven campaign. This campaign boasts 30 meticulously crafted missions, weaving a narrative around familiar characters from the Phoenix 2 universe.

This campaign mode offers a fresh and engaging challenge for both veteran and new players, providing a welcome change of pace from the usual daily missions. A stylish new Starmap enhances the visual experience as you explore diverse locations and battle enemies.

Customization options have also been boosted with the introduction of custom player tags. Achieving VIP status unlocks the ability to personalize your leaderboard entry, choosing from a range of designs and tweaking colors and information to create a truly unique tag. These customized tags are permanently displayed on the leaderboard, showcasing your high scores.

Enhanced Gameplay and Controls

Controller support is another key improvement. Players who prefer using a gamepad will be pleased to know that Phoenix 2 now offers full compatibility with modern controllers.

Speedrunners and competitive players will appreciate the addition of wave progress indicators and a new timer during missions, allowing for more precise tracking of performance.

Further Enhancements

Beyond these significant additions, the update includes various smaller tweaks and bug fixes, including updated character portraits.
