What Duck: RTS Game Launches on Mobile

  • What Duck is an adorable 2D strategy game
  • Launching soon on Android and iOS, it stars—what else? Ducks!
  • Build towers, summon units, and defeat enemies before they destroy you

First crabs, now ducks! Lately, it seems all sorts of animals are making their way into the RTS genre, as perfectly shown by What Duck, coming soon to iOS and Android. So what does this casual, duck-themed RTS offer? Let’s take a look!

For starters, What Duck definitely isn't short on content. Alongside a wave-based, multi-lane RTS mode, it also includes a classic 2D tower defense experience. Both modes feature a variety of quirky, charming duck heroes and units to deploy on the battlefield.

The strategy unfolds on two levels: building your own roster of duck units and pairing them with the right hero for maximum synergy. You'll collect action points to deploy units and strategically position towers to fend off incoming enemy forces.

ytQuirky!

Where What Duck might feel a bit chaotic, it makes up for it with content variety. With so many unique ducks to choose from, the diversity is definitely noteworthy. That said, while the 2D art style is undeniably cute, it doesn't quite match the immersive 3D chaos seen in games like King of Crabs.

That visual busyness might be a turnoff for some players—the screen can get overwhelmingly hectic. Still, if you can embrace the chaos, What Duck offers delightfully quirky and over-the-top fun.

In the meantime, why not check out our list of the top 25 best strategy games for iOS and Android? It's a great way to give your tactical skills a workout—featuring handpicked strategy titles you won’t want to miss!
