Ubisoft's Rainbow Six Siege X: A Major Update, Not a New Game
Ubisoft recently unveiled Rainbow Six Siege X, not as a new game, but as a significant upgrade to the existing Rainbow Six Siege. This major overhaul, announced February 17th, 2025, will be detailed at a showcase event.
March 2025 Showcase:
The Rainbow Six Siege X showcase is scheduled for March 13th, 2025, at 10:00 am PDT / 1:00 pm EDT in Atlanta, Georgia. This immersive event will feature the extensive gameplay changes, promising "new ways to play, deepened tactical gameplay, refined game feel, and major upgrades." In-person attendance requires a $10 ticket (including a shirt and in-game cosmetic pack) and meeting eligibility requirements: US or Canadian residency, 18+ years of age, and a good standing Rainbow Six Siege account. A VIP package giveaway (hotel, flight, event entry) is also available for US and Canadian residents.
10th Anniversary & Season 1: Operation Prep Phase:
Coinciding with Rainbow Six Siege's 10th anniversary (December 1st, 2015, initial release), Season 1, "Operation Prep Phase," launches March 4th, 2025. This season introduces:
