Old School RuneScape Launches the Royal Titans with a Dual Boss Encounter

The latest update to Old School RuneScape introduces an epic confrontation between fire and ice with the Royal Titans. If you've been eagerly awaiting these new PvM bosses, you're in for a treat. Dive into the details of this fiery and frosty clash below.

The Royal Titans Have Arrived in Old School RuneScape

In this thrilling update, the fire giants, led by their fierce leader Brandr, the Fire Queen, have grown ambitious and are seeking more territory. Their expansion leads them directly into the Asgarnian Ice Cave, already home to the ice giants. Summoning their ruler, Eldric, the King of Frost, the ice giants are ready to defend their home against the fiery invaders. This sets the stage for a monumental battle between these two legendary titans, and you can join the fray.

The encounter with the Royal Titans is a Dual Boss fight, pitting you against both Brandr and Eldric simultaneously. To succeed, you'll need to be agile, switching your gear to exploit their elemental weaknesses. Going it alone is an option, but teaming up with a friend can make the challenge more manageable and fun.

Victory over the Royal Titans rewards you with a chance to obtain the powerful Twinflame Staff and the Giantsoul Amulet. The latter is an untradeable teleport item that allows instant travel to any of the three major giant bosses: Obor, Bryophyta, and the Royal Titans themselves.

What Are the Special Goodies?

Engaging in the battle of the Royal Titans in Old School RuneScape offers a plethora of rewards. Among them are valuable Prayer Scrolls, Desiccated Pages, and the coveted Fire & Ice giant pet. Additionally, for those focused on grinding Slayer XP, the Royal Titans introduce a new Slayer Alternative Task, allowing you to gain experience by fighting both fire and ice giants while tackling the boss.

As Old School RuneScape celebrates its 12th birthday on February 19th, there will be a special birthday livestream, in-game decorations, and new cosmetic rewards to enjoy.

With the arrival of the Royal Titans, 2025 promises to be an exciting year for Old School RuneScape. You can download the game from the Google Play Store to experience these new battles firsthand.
