As part of the second update in *Season 5: The Blossoming Blade*, *Monster Hunter Now* is set to introduce an exclusive online paid event known as **Spring Hunt 2025**. This special event will be active from **May 24th to May 25th, 2025**, and promises thrilling gameplay centered around one of the most elusive elder dragons—**Chameleos**.
What Is Spring Hunt 2025 in Monster Hunter Now?
To participate in the **Spring Hunt 2025** event, players must purchase a special event ticket available in the *Monster Hunter Now* shop. Once obtained, the ticket unlocks continuous Elder Dragon Interceptions that exclusively feature Chameleos. This means no waiting between encounters—you can dive straight into back-to-back battles with this stealthy beast. Additionally, you’ll have the chance to collect exclusive Chameleos-themed layered gear during the event.
The event also introduces two dedicated **Event Exchange Hubs**. One of them, the **Spring Hunt Eve Exchange Hub**, becomes accessible starting **May 19th at 9:00 a.m.** and remains open until **June 2nd at 11:59 p.m.**
During the token collection period—from **May 19th to May 25th**—players can earn tokens by defeating large monsters or elder dragons. These tokens can then be exchanged for valuable items such as the Silver Rathalos Plate, Glavenus Plate, Wyvern Gem Shard, and more.
Eager to Take On Chameleos?
Chameleos is a master of evasion, known for its ability to disappear and unleash strange fog that obscures vision. Starting **May 24th, 2025**, players can engage in special Elder Dragon Interceptions featuring this legendary monster.
Players ranked **Level 100 or higher** can encounter Chameleos in 8-star Elder Dragon Interceptions once it enters its preliminary phase, beginning at **9:00 a.m. on May 24th**. It’s important to note that Chameleos is particularly weak to Fire, Dragon, and Blast elements, so make sure your gear and skills reflect that advantage.
Successfully defeating Chameleos opens up the crafting of the new **Mizuha Set** armor. This set includes the powerful skill **Chameleos Venomist**, which reduces the duration of poison and venom effects on you by half while also making it easier to inflict poison on your enemies.
Weapons crafted using Chameleos materials span a wide range of categories, including Dual Blades, Great Sword, Long Sword, Hammer, Gunlance, Switch Axe, Charge Blade, and Bow. So whether you prefer fast-paced combat or heavy-hitting strikes, there's something for every playstyle.
