Anticipation is high among fans, who are already dubbing Split Fiction as one of the year's most eagerly awaited co-op titles.
Three years following the debut of It Takes Two, Hazelight Studios released a significant update for their cooperative adventure game in May. The developers shared the comprehensive list of changes on Steam, showcasing their shift towards catering to the core Steam player base. A notable update is that the game no longer requires the EA launcher to run and is now fully compatible with the Steam Deck.
Players can now easily invite their Steam friends to join the game, and Steam Family Sharing is fully supported. While an EA account is still needed to connect to EA servers, it's no longer required for local play through Steam Remote Play, making it more accessible for players to enjoy the game with friends.
