Bam Margera has been confirmed to join the roster of skaters in the highly anticipated Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4, despite his initial absence from the announced lineup. This exciting news was revealed by skateboarding media veteran Roger Bagley during a members-only livestream of The Nine Club skateboarding podcast, as reported by Video Games Chronicle.
According to Bagley, the game was "already done" when Tony Hawk reached out to Activision to request Margera's inclusion. Initially told it was not possible, Hawk's persistence paid off, showcasing his dedication to the skateboarding community. IGN has reached out to Activision for further comment on this development.
Margera, known for his roles as a professional skateboarder and a star of the Jackass franchise, has faced well-documented struggles with alcohol and substance abuse, including multiple rehab visits. His recent dismissal from Jackass Forever and the subsequent restraining order issued by director Jeff Tremaine due to alleged threats added to his public challenges. However, a recent video shared by Hawk and Margera skateboarding together sparked speculation about Margera's return to the game.
Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 is set to launch on July 11, 2025, and will be available across multiple platforms including PlayStation 4 and 5, Xbox One and Series X|S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. Developed by Iron Galaxy, this project has overcome significant hurdles, including being nearly canceled following the merger of the original developer, Vicarious Visions, with Blizzard.
